Do i need a power supply, if im joining multiple (3) cat6 networking cables to connect it to my modem?
Im adding wires throughout my whole house, and i wanna join all the wires together and then plug it into my modem. What can i use as a power supply, because i tried one computer, it doesnt have enough power. i try 2 of the 3 total, and it starts working. how can i power the wires so it works with any amount of computers ? What is a patch panel? What is it's purpose? would it power the wires?

You cannot splice network cables. There is no "power" in those cable, just low level signals.
If you have a modem and want to share the internet with more than one computer, you have to put in a router. Most routers now have a wireless port and 4 wired ports. Run your wires to those ports, and everyone can share the internet.
