::::::::My Bootleg Antenna getting 1080i:::::::::::?
Now i know Componant and HDMI cables support better picture quality and sound and whatever....but heres my story...... my t.v has a built in Digital Tuner so i wanted to test it out...i didnt have any antanna and my coaxial cable dosent work as an antanna...so i toke some speaker wire, tied it to a five foot long coat hanger and hung it up on the wall.....and i put the other end of the speaker wire which was like only 6 or seven strands and put it into the coaxial of my t.v.....and instanly i got five high deffinition channels....3 in 720p and 2 in 1080i .... i know its being broadcast as that but my question is how is a coat hanger and speaker wire carrying that signal...i didnt know i could get that picture quality through coaxial...
You must be living very close to the transmitting station (check www.antennaweb.org).
You are receiving a digital broadcast and yes, it can be either 720p or 1080i.
