Access Point Broadcast
A look at what is currently available on eBay

What happens when a WAP is configured to stop broadcasting the SSID?
Computer access to the wireless access points is restricted.
The identity of the network is freely broadcast.
The network is invisible to those who are unaware of the SSID.
Signals are prevented from transmission outside the boundaries of the local network.
if the SSID disabled for broadcasting you have manually configure your pc or laptop for SSID they need to communicate and also WAP keys. Just use the windos wireless configuration utilty that comes with the windows. Just right click your wireless NIC then properties then choose the wireless tap. Then add the wireless you need his SSID and the secutiy keys.
Is that helpful?
