how do you hook up an answering machine and a fax machine on the same phone line and have both of them owrk?
the phone line goes from the wall to the fax to the answering machine. the answering machine seems to always answer the phone.
You 've got to have a splitter with two outlets.One outlet will be for fax mach. ,the other for your answering mach.
