problem with dell laptop, "internal no bootable device" how can i fix it?
my laptop turned off on me. I tried to put it back on but when i try i hear a beep sound, the it says internal no bootable devices. it's a inspiron 1440, and a windows 7. I have the installation cd.
Is there a way to fix it without losing all my files? how can i backup them without starting windows?

make sure your hard drive hasnt come loose also in order too back up computer u need too be able at least too get into safe mode try getting in if u do back up the stuff u want too save but hard drive might be bad if still under warranty call dell good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
